Arabs in Australia are the hottest segment of the Australian grocery market, according to a report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The report, based on sales data from supermarkets, grocery stores and food distributors, found the region has grown by more than 100 per cent since 2000.
The region has also gained a population and the number of people who are from outside the Middle East.
It has more people from outside Australia than the US, France and Britain combined, the report said.
“There’s no question that Australia is now the most attractive market in the world,” said Michael Fergusson, the lead author of the report and an economist at the University of Melbourne.
“Australians are going to want to buy groceries in the region because the quality and availability is just better.”
The report is based on data from the grocery stores in the Greater Melbourne area.
The supermarket industry is the largest employer in the area, accounting for 25 per cent of its total employment.
But while the number is increasing, the proportion of people from overseas is shrinking.
The Australian dollar is down 1.6 per cent against the US dollar in the past 24 hours and the Australian dollar index is down 0.3 per cent, compared with the same period a year ago.
But in a sign that the Australian economy may be cooling, the Australian Retailers Association has warned that the economic downturn is already impacting on its members and that the country’s “labor force is shrinking.”
The association’s president, Paul Mowatt, said it was becoming harder to attract the top talent in the industry and he would be worried if Australia lost its manufacturing base.
Fergussons report says the region is the fastest growing in the countryThe region also gained the second fastest growth in population between 2000 and 2010, and now has an average of 11,000 new residents a year.
Its population also grew by more then a million people a year between 2010 and 2020, the highest increase in the continent.
And it added another 500,000 people a decade later, more than double the growth rate of the next largest region, South Africa, which has just over 3 million people.
But the report’s authors believe that the demographic shift has not happened overnight.
They said that as many as 40 per cent or more of the growth in the Australian population is the result of migration from other parts of the world, and that some of the largest increases were in the South East.
Ferguson said the region had the largest number of Australians from outside of the Middle Eastern countries.
He said that when people migrated to Australia from the Middle West and elsewhere, they tended to stay in Australia.
But Fergusons report said that a lot of the migration was done through the tertiary system, the system that includes university, which he said was becoming increasingly unaffordable for most Australians.
He said people who were living in Australia for many years were now going back to the Middle States.
“The number of tertiary students is at a record low,” he said.
Ferguson says there are a lot more opportunities for Australians in the MiddleEastIt is important to note that most of the countries listed in the report are in Australia, so if you’re in one of those countries and you’re looking for a place to live and a job, you should be able to get a job in that country, said Ferguson.
But he said the regional growth had been fuelled by a lot less than expected demand.
There was not as much demand in the United States, which had a larger population than the Middle-East, Ferguson said.
Australia is also not in the middle of the US’s economic downturn, he said, and there are more opportunities in the US than in the Arab world.
The report noted that the US economy is now growing at a faster rate than Australia.
And that trend is likely to continue, Fergussian said.
The growth in Australia’s population, however, is also expected to slow down as people migrate back to their own countries.
The migration to Australia has already been very slow and people are choosing to move back to countries that they can live and work, Falgusson said.
