The burger chain Burger King has created a burger made from only its own burger ingredients, the New York Times reports.
The burger uses a burger mix made from a burger patty, lettuce, tomato and a side of pickles and onions, according to a press release from Burger King.
The company has also created a recipe to make it without using oil and it comes in two flavors, the company says.
“We’re proud to be a part of the food movement,” said Scott Siegel, vice president of corporate communications for Burger King USA.
“It’s a great thing to be part of, it really is.
It gives us a lot of pride and it’s good to be able to help out with our customers.”
Burger King’s recipe, which is not listed on its website, uses only its patty and lettuce.
Siegel says the mix is made to be low-sodium, high-fiber and gluten-free.
“There are many people out there who don’t like to use oils and grease, and we know that’s something that’s very important to many people.
So we thought, why not make something that uses only our ingredients?” said Siegel.
The recipe also uses an extra layer of cheese on top of the burger, making it healthier.
Burger King also says it’s created a new cheese-free recipe.
It’s a mix of a blend of ground chuck, ground beef, cheddar, mozzarella, sour cream and pickles.
The brand also says the recipe has been tested in a variety of different locations and has met with great success.
